New Music: Micah McLaurin Goes ‘Baboom’ With Glam + Bubbles
Out recording artist Micah McLaurin drops his new electro-pop music video, “Baboom,” complete with French lyrics and his signature glam.
The tres catchy next-gen club anthem expands on Micah’s love for French music and singers such as Charles Aznavour.
Music has been such a transformative outlet for Micah who grew up in a conservative, religious family in the U.S. where he was homeschooled and sent to conversion therapy twice.
After years as a celebrated concert pianist, Micah is embracing every facet of himself and his artistry and is now writing and performing his own original songs, such as his recent singles “Don’t Give Up On Love,” “Medusa,” and “Call Me,” which are all about embracing your freedom, individuality, and sexuality.
Micah recently shared with Paper Magazine:
“Doing my own songs live, I’m able to incorporate my classical influences and piano with songs and lyrics that everyone can sing and dance to. Finding my singing voice also feels like finding the missing puzzle piece because piano and voice is the perfect combination.”
“Baboom” is available on Spotify and all major music platforms.
